As a result of using this product, I found that it greatly improved the functionality of my workholding setup. The precision and durability of the tool was impressive. It is a great asset for both industrial and scientific applications. The only downside is the higher cost compared to other workholding tools. Nonetheless, it's well worth the investment for the quality and performance it provides.

I was purchasing Accusize products with good results until these collets came out. They look good, but three of the six have slots that are too narrow for the alignment pins. The 5C collets have slots for 1/8" pins and three of them were about .110" and didn't work so I sent the set back.

This is my third attempt to buy 5C square collets and all the threads are 18-23k cut and you only have 44. The total thread depth between male and female is of great Meaning, and you'll remove the tie rods, collets, or both. It looks like all 5C round and square collets on Amazon are made in China. and if China has problems, then so do all the other brands. I called Accusize and asked them about the problem and they said the collets are from China and they couldn't do anything about it other…
