ALUMINUM 6061 WITH EXCELLENT CUT! Like a butter baby!

Media could not be loaded. So I make some aluminum prototypes. I use routers and create template fixtures to guide myself. The trick I've found is to use slower speeds, use a slower feed rate, and never try to shoot too much. Example: With this 1/2" (.500") drill, I find it useful to divide the drill diameter by 4 to cut material. For this bit, 0.500 (1/2 inch) divided by 4 = 0.125 (1/8 inch). So I start from there with a 1/8" depth and 1/8" material cutout. Works perfectly! I post videos on…

Extremely impressed and pleased

I only cut annealed tool steel and these cutters absolutely cut through it unlike any other end mill in my box. Not only that, I get more durability out of it than my carbide. I've been cutting tool steel with one of these 2 days in a row and it still works perfectly. I'm stocking up because that's all I'm using now. For the price they are unbeatable. m42's strength, shock resistance and resistance to vibration damage is much better than carbide, carbide has almost no place in my drawer. A bad…

Good Quality Milling Cutter

I was so used to carbide tools that I didn't realize this cutter was not carbide until I looked at my previous orders. I've used it in steel, aluminum and some plastics. Everything seems to cut like butter and I had no problem leaving anything stuck in the flutes. Leaves a fairly smooth surface. The grooves on one flute don't line up with the same groove on the next flute, so you end up with a smoother finish than you might expect. Will definitely be buying more - they cost less than half the…
