Accurate and Durable Caliper

This industrial and scientific caliper is a top-notch product that helps you get precise measurements on the job. When I tried this product, I was astounded by how accurately it gave measurements, even on the smallest items. The long-lasting stainless steel material added to its strength and durability, ensuring it would last for years to come. The only downside was that the digital display could be a bit hard to read in low light conditions. Overall, this is a fantastic product that any…

Pros
  • Precise and accurate measurements for precise engineering work.
Cons
  • May need to be calibrated frequently to maintain accuracy over time.

Happy machinist trainee.

I am a machinist with 32 years of experience. I've always bought gauges from well-known brands. Mainly Starrett, Mitutoyo and Brown and Sharpe. When I recently bought calipers, I found that many of them are shipped to China. I have purchased a few other Accusize products and have been pleased with the quality. I bought 6 inch calipers on a whim, really thinking they should be good value. I am very happy with them. You are a good weight. "Several weeks to write this review and I've used them…

Pros
  • Hardened stainless steel
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Works well, requires effort to calibrate

I used calipers in a high school engineering class a few years ago and I remember that where possible they were fairly easy to calibrate it was just to rotate the dial and re-zero the needles. This came out of the gauge horribly and to calibrate it you have to push the dial glass out with a small screwdriver and then do the same for the pins and then put the pins in. It takes SEVERAL times and the first time I removed the glass according to the rather vague instructions it popped out crookedly…

Pros
  • Direct reading to within 0.001"/0.02mm on large see-through dial
Cons
  • Not sure
