Use genuine GM parts.

This module solved my problem with the HVAC fan not working. It corresponds to the original part, so it is easy to install.

I had a general problem with the fan motor running all the time (even with the engine and ignition off) as that resistor fails after a while. A few screws and after 15 minutes everything was back to normal!

Buy these new, not used.

I had previously purchased used elsewhere and it worked but it had a current discharge which resulted in two car batteries being destroyed. run. This worked as expected.

Fixed problem in my 1991 Buick Reatta. In the beginning the battery was slowly empty. Then I noticed that the fan motor does not turn off even if the key is removed from the ignition switch. Now I have a full-fledged operation of heating and air conditioning. The item was delivered quickly and installation was easy. Simply remove 2 electrical plugs and 4 screws, then flip to install. Highly recommended.

Fixed an issue where the fan motor wouldn't turn off when the key was removed from the ignition.

I currently have a 1987 Corvette with C68 automatic climate control. I had an issue where the heater blower motor stayed on even when the car was off and the key was not in the ignition. I was happy to see that upon unboxing it was a genuine AC Delco part and not a third party part. Installation took about 5 minutes, problem fixed.

Problem solved with my 1988 Allante and great price

This fits my 1988 Allante and may have actually solved two problems. My initial issue was that contrary to what many people have said here, there was no fan motor. I actually followed the GM service manual diagnostic tree to verify the problem and even then I wasn't sure if that was the problem. Replacing this module solved this problem and now the fan motor is working again. The second thing, which may or may not be related, is a mysterious battery drain. I never noticed the fan motor running…
