This fits my 1988 Allante and may have actually solved two problems. My initial issue was that contrary to what many people have said here, there was no fan motor. I actually followed the GM service manual diagnostic tree to verify the problem and even then I wasn't sure if that was the problem. Replacing this module solved this problem and now the fan motor is working again. The second thing, which may or may not be related, is a mysterious battery drain. I never noticed the fan motor running after the machine was turned off, but I had a constant problem with the battery draining after about a week of inactivity for years. I was never able to trace the leak and ended up putting in a battery tender to prop up the battery. Since I swapped out this controller, the problem seems to have gone away.
