I chose this item because of the low price and the original spare part. I can recommend it as a great deal and good service.

Various reviews state that the fan motor is one of the components that has a limited lifespan. After using my 2000 Blazer for 11 years, it started making noise. This gave me a smooth ride back with minimal issues.

It is exactly the same as the original and works very well. Before installation, I thoroughly cleaned the air space. I have a 97 S-10 and it has never been cleaned. There was at least half a deciduous bush in this area. The air conditioning in the cabin is now much fresher. I was hoping that the cleaning would increase airflow through the driver and passenger side vents, but that didn't happen.

Does not include breather tube (as shown in photo) but I don't need a new breather tube so it's fine. Please ensure your vent tube is recyclable before ordering this part. The plastic cage was slightly longer (5mm) and slightly wider (1-2mm) than the old cage, so replacing it was a bit difficult. The plastic wing of the case required some sharpening to make this part fit. However, the new fan is quiet and the air conditioning is blowing again! Hooray!

A YouTube video I watched to show how to fit this fan in my car (95 Blazer, 209k miles) found it easy but I found it a royal one Torment, although I didn't have it to cut open the plastic paneling that once covered the entire air conditioning unit, as it had long since cracked and broken, and I took it off piece by piece. This fan is perfect for my 1995 S10 (4.3, code Z eng). I am very happy with the blower. For full disclosure, I did not receive the radiator pipe as shown in the picture. I received all the other accessories shown in the picture but did not need them (clips and a screw). Goes well with the 97 Blazer LT. I can confirm that this blazer has a plastic case that needs to be cut off to get at the old part. Use a good quality retractable safety blade for this part. The hardest part is pulling out the old fan assembly, and it's REALLY hard to install a new fan.
