Goes well with the 97 Blazer LT. I can confirm that this blazer has a plastic case that needs to be cut off to get at the old part. Use a good quality retractable safety blade for this part. The hardest part is pulling out the old fan assembly, and it's REALLY hard to install a new fan. I strongly encourage you to test drive your new fan motor at this point before installing it on your vehicle. Reassembly: The rim on the new engine is round except for a flat end. When removing or inserting the fan and motor, the key should move slowly, and when hovering, rotate the flat surface to where it's being gripped to clear it. Above all, do not use force, just move slowly, twist and wiggle until it falls into the holder.
