Great item, not easy to install

Works great at all my AC speeds. I have 95 K1500. Installation is not fun nor easy. Before you try to install on YouTube, you'll save tons of time as it's under the dashboard.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Fits Silverado 95.

I don't know if my old one was bad but it was an exact replacement for the old one. I just replaced the fan motor and heater core and thought I'd change that too. Fits 1995 Silverado.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Appearance

Good quality part suitable for engine cooling and air conditioning

Works great at a good price, was able to solve my problem It was a bit difficult to return. On a '98 GMC Sierra with no case, but when you pause and drive slow there was a position that locked in seconds, pause and don't force it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Requires socket

Factory replacement

Factory replacement. The item is of very good quality. This got my fan stuck at altitude. This part is too tall to fit in my 1995 K2500 heater box without removing the dash. I fixed this problem by carefully bending the coils to make sure none of the coils are touching to avoid a short circuit. No questions. I'll buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Damaged

Matches well with heating

Fits and performs like any OEM part. Adjust real pain. It is very difficult to install without damaging it. Directly behind the glove box on top of the black plastic fan/fan box. We remove the bracket from the relay and turn off everything that interferes. It is held in place by 2 7mm screws. On my 1996 Suburb with rear air conditioning, I now have all front panel fan functions.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Fixed a bug that caused the AC switch to get stuck in the up position.

This has replaced the block with the burnt resistor. My 1999 Suburban just blew at high speed. I replaced the panel switch but this fan motor resistor should be replaced first if you have the same problem. It's not easy to put your hands in there. I would recommend using a 7mm wrench to loosen the bolts. There's good advice on YouTube, and the price of this device certainly makes up for spending over $200 on a control panel, which isn't going to solve the problem anyway.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...
