Replacing the wiper drive took about 30 minutes. The wipers work like new, the hardest part was figuring out the position of the wipers after installation (my problem for not fully tightening the wipers).

The wiper on the driver's side of my wife's HHR no longer moves. The wiper gear is worn and broken. It was a direct replacement. I completed the repair in about an hour. This unit uses the existing wiper motor and wiper arms. All connected with no problems. I will order this when my HHR breaks.

Very happy with this purchase. It fit perfectly and was easy to replace (even in sub-zero temperatures). Although unfortunately the plastic bushings failed from the start. I hope it lasts at least as long as the original. Amazingly easy Revain shipping was fast and the price was fair. ***Update*** 11 months later and it crashed again. Too bad these aren't plastic bushings.

There was a problem with the assembly that I received. The link arms were installed on the wrong side. Each is a slightly different length and has a different connector on the end that attaches to the motor arm. One has a pressure port with a white cup and the other has a straight pressure port. I was able to remove and swap the arms from the wiper pivot arms, after which they attached to the motor arm as expected. The picture shows a site before I changed hands.

This is an exact match to what I replaced. You'll need to use your old build's motor-mounted drive arm. Pay special attention to the timing and orientation of the drive arms. Start and stop the engine until it stops in its original position. When everything is adjusted as desired, be sure to tighten the bolts on the splined shafts. Installed in just over an hour. Tip: Take a few photos of your old device before you take it off for reference. Everything is metric.

Replacement in OEM quality. It was pretty quick to dismantle the hood to get to the wiper drive. Eventually he admitted his defeat and ordered it. Received this part today after my transmission failed 200 miles from home during the night in the sleet. It was an easy part to install if you have a little mechanical skill.
