GM Genuine Parts Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor - 20999338, 8 inches Review

My 2011 Sierra started reporting low washer fluid incorrectly when the car was about three years old. After ignoring this message for four years, I decided to find out the reason and fix the problem. After researching on YouTube and then purchasing this part, it took 15 minutes to install. The false windshield washer fluid message is now gone. Not sure why I put it off for four years before fixing it.

Fits a 2009 Tahoe, you just need to use the old washer and the new one together. Installation: Install old washer, then install new washer, then handle sensor. It's not that easy, you just have to fight this sensor, turn it right and left and it will work. This is the easiest way I've found. Cheaper than the dealer who offered me $41 and arrived very quickly the next day. He removed the warning sign (add washer fluid). I definitely recommend this item.

Easy installation, just like factory part. Put it on my 2011 Tahoe as the DIC always shows a low washer fluid message when I start or sieve or park. I installed this part on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. As some others have posted, my setup wasn't exactly perfect, but it wasn't overly complicated either. I had to fit the new rubber bushing into the existing rubber bushing as the new one was smaller in diameter and didn't seal well.
