PERFECT REPLACEMENT OEM

I bought a Dorman from the market and it was done wrong, all the curves were wrong! But this one from AC Delco is perfect and easy to install.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Perfect fit best in spare parts

This product was an identical replacement of the original. I recommend this GM OE part and no replacement part available on the market. The steel profile on the aftermarket version is not bent properly and needs to be wedged in place.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Negative impression

It was very easy to replace

Was used to replace a leaking factory line. You will need to replace the gasket in the gearbox to prevent leaks from that side. There is a special tool for this that I had to borrow from a mechanic friend of mine. Otherwise the exchange was very easy.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked for a good year or so, then both lines started.

Worked great for about a year then both lines started to leak heavily from the drain holes in the metal sleeves that connect the steel line to the rubber coolant lines. I ended up repairing them by cutting off the bellows and replacing that section with rubber coolant tubes and clamps. No more leaks!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Expensive

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great for Grand Am

Perfect for 2000 Grand Am. Review will be updated on how well this works. Update: Just some information that might help people. Where the hoses enter the radiator they must be tightened very firmly. I found them to be quite tight and after driving the car I found that they were leaking around the union nuts. I tightened them several times wondering if I would damage something in the cooler from possibly over tightening, but the cooler held and after about 4 pulls they finally stopped leaking…

Pros
  • Grand Prix
Cons
  • Vulgarity
