Works as intended! It's difficult to remove the old gasket, but if you're rebuilding a CV axle it's a good idea to replace both gaskets!

When replacing the drive shaft, the seal must be replaced. just do it now It fit perfectly and looked like the original. Remember that the driver's side seal and the passenger's side are separate parts, so do not order 2 of them.

RE: ACDelco GM Original Equipment 24202835 Automatic Transmission Front Axle Oil Seal The vehicle installation manual selected this oil seal for a 4T65E transmission in a 2002 Buick LeSabre Final driveshaft from transmission case to CV axle. I checked the GM websites part and it is correct. Delivery was fast. I haven't had a chance to go to an auto parts store and get a universal oil seal. I prefer GM OEM parts for Grandma's Buick.

Axle seals wear out over time, so whenever a CV axle is replaced, the axle seal must be replaced. Please note that the GM 4T65E gearbox has two different sized oil seals for the left (ACDelco 24243353) and right (ACDelco 24202835) axles. So be sure to take both with you.
