Worth buying - water pumps

Works perfectly so far! The only thing I didn't like was that the kit didn't include a sensor, which I felt should have been included. Therefore only 4 stars

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • piggy bank Price

The OEM pump is the best in replacement parts

You can't go wrong with ACDelco OEM parts. I ordered this water pump to replace my old worn one on my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood. The product was well packaged, looks good and fits perfectly, also includes both mounting gaskets.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was

AC Delco water pump for my 1995 Imapala SS LT1. 😎👍

The ACDelco replacement water pump is a perfect replacement for my 1995 Impala SS LT1 engine. Complete with gaskets. AC Delco is slightly larger but I prefer OEM replacements over aftermarket. I hooked it up to an ACDelco 180 thermostat and coolant outlet.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Reliability

Reliable well built pump

This pump is of good quality, the manufacturing process appears to be very good as the fit and finish was great. Time will tell if it will hold up as made in China, but definitely something that is no longer made in China. It's an AC-Delco brand, so I think it's a good device. Delco makes good parts.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Economy Water Pump OEM

replaced a leaking water pump on a Roadmaster 95 with this one. Also ordered a separate rubber seal which is not included (now I forgot which one - read the advice on the Buick or Ssimpala forums). Combined with new hoses, clamps, sealant and gasket I did this job myself for the first time - dirty but the part worked great the next 6 months I had the car. Unless you are using high quality parts I recommend using OEM brands as they are usually of a higher quality and will fit as they should.

Pros
  • Economy Water Pump
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Wow, is this made in China? Aha!

But what's the difference. This is AC Delco and the correct part number for my LT-1. Also, Revain had the best price back then. I usually switch to electric water pumps but this one works great for a mechanical pump and was easy to install. Comes with seals, this is NOT mentioned and saves a trip to the parts store. However, you will need another o-ring for the engine side of the water pump drive clutch (this o-ring will become rock hard and crumble). This is FelPro P/N 407 sold at Revain for…

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Very expensive

Problem with the pump configuration.

Purchased 3/30/17 Installed 5/4/17 After installation I noticed that the upper heater hose was too close to the power steering pulley. When cold, there is enough clearance for the heater hose not to touch each other, BUT. When hot, the hose expands and rubs against the pulley. I don't have the luxury of taking a car apart to send it back and then waiting for another. I need my car for a 2.5 hour drive (one way) every time I take it to chemo. Sometimes every week or every week and a half. Is…

Pros
  • Easy to use
