Reliable Starter Boosting My Car!

ACDelco's Professional Starter Remanufactured is a great addition to my automotive collection. The starter has been the best in terms of reliability and performance. The installation process was smooth and the instructions were user-friendly. The product is also cost-effective, which is a plus point for anyone who wants to upgrade their car's performance without breaking the bank. The only downside is that there is no warranty or return policy, unlike other products in the market.

Pros
  • High quality and reliable performance.
Cons
  • Some customers have reported compatibility issues with certain vehicle models.

Defective Product: Starters and Alternators

A defective starter has arrived. The fuses blew immediately. If you use a remote start switch, it will spin but not catch on the flywheel. I traded in another known good starter from another car and had no problems. For now I will only buy a high quality high torque mini starter because those standard starters are heavy.

Pros
  • Remanufactured using consistent quality processes; not only restored
Cons
  • Something else

I had to change because there weren't any.

Had to be changed as it didn't have the dangerous hole for the bolt holding the clutch spring brace on the 1970's 442. Also not included. with shims needed to adjust alignment with flywheel. I ended up removing it and replacing it with the original starter, which I professionally rebuilt. There will be a replacement.

Pros
  • New electroplated copper electromagnet contacts
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
