Fits perfectly. Be sure to tighten the intake manifold bolts.

Direct replacement. Fits perfectly. Be sure to tighten the intake manifold bolts in the correct order and to the correct torque. Installed about 3 months before this review. There is no vacuum leak, the check is over. So far, so good. 2005 Silverado 5.3

Fit perfectly and solved my fuel adjustment problem.

I have the same code on banks 1 and 2 Fuel trim system is bad, banks 1 and 2 (PO171B and PO174B). In other words, an intake leak in both banks. I've tried using a smoke machine, starting liquid and gas to find the leak but none of that worked. Replaced intake gaskets and problem solved.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

OEM parts equivalent

Exact replacement for 5.3 with cathedral connectors (07 Silverado Classic) Snaps in and is very easy to change if knock sensors are installed (if you make these sensors be sure to change them harness, don't come back because you missed part 1). Also, don't forget to tighten those inlet screws, you don't want to over-tighten that gasket or plastic manifold.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

easy to squeeze on intake manifold

Really very easy to install. Since they snap into place, you don't have to worry about them moving with the inlets on the heads. They're a little more expensive than Felpro (which is also a quality product) but for the time it took to get the job done I didn't want to worry about having to do it all over again due to issues with gaskets coming out during alignment Installation.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative present

Another quality product ACDelco

Had to replace the intake gaskets on our 2003 5.3 liter Tahoe (a known problem with leaks over time) and they fit/worked perfectly. These are the original "green" ACDelco seals. They snap in just like the OEM ones and one look will tell you they're clearly superior to the "orange" OEM seals. There are several videos on Youtube that will walk you through the process of replacing intake gaskets/knock sensors. It just seems intimidating but take your time (4+ hours) and you can do it yourself and…

It's a good part and well sealed

I replaced it with a knock sensor, the plastic clips made it easy to install and I've had no problems with this gasket. The previous owner of my car installed a Fel-Pro hydraulic version (a 2004 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L engine). Both seals would fit on this car. I think AC delco is easier to install. My engine no longer knocks for about 15 seconds at start (used to be even when the knock sensor didn't trigger the DTC). I'm not sure if this is because I installed a new knock sensor or a new…
