Works perfectly as expected. This block replaced the original 180,000 mile block. Plug it in, set the CMP offset, and the check engine light won't go out - that's all you can ask for.

This valve has a plastic body. Over time, it wears out and cuts the teeth of the distributor drive gear. Could have spent less on a metal case distributor but decided to go back to stock.

Good quality product. OEM fit and finish. Much better than Chinese fakes on the market. Turned out I didn't need it and went back (which was painless with Revain btw) but I have no doubt it would have worked just as well as the original factory part when it was new.

When I took my old one off I found there was nothing wrong with it. It was just misconfigured. But since I had a brand new one in my hands, I installed it anyway. Please. Has been working flawlessly for over a month.

It's the ignition, got it? No room for random aftermarket details. I use a lot of parts, but not for this. Yes, it costs 5 times more than the cheap one. The one I started had 215,000 miles on it. Enough said. Everything went exactly as you expected. Although I tried to set it as close as possible to the old one's position, I still had to adjust the cam return offset, so you'd better plan for that.
