Too good. difficult conditions. small and hard

These shoes are very well made. The sole is twice as thick as my previous Tai Chi shoes with fabric soles. The craftsman who sewed these shoes first clearly marked the sole size 43 and sewed so carefully that the inner size was reduced to a size 39 or 40. With a little experimentation, a customer could order a few sizes up and have a superior, durable shoe. Unfortunately, I'm not used to this in my Tai Chi practice. I am embarrassed to criticize a product for being too good.

You get what you pay for!

All right, I mean all right. I replaced a pair of 2000 stitch cotton soles of the same shoes I bought in China in 2012, I think I expected them to be similar. They are not !Easy to put on and good for wearing outdoors or at home. What they are, not comfortable at all! They by no means have the comfort of an entire sole made of cotton. My last pair lasted 6 years and although they wear out they are still comfortable. As I've found, they're very hard to find in the US at a reasonable price. You…

Current offer: Shoes

The perfect indoor shoes. I go through several pairs each year. These are the most comfortable indoor slippers and I really appreciate the lack of synthetic materials in the construction. Ideal for Tai Chi, Qigong or other energy exercises. Essential for travel, very useful for those who prefer not to walk barefoot on hotel carpets or corridors. I wear a size 8 in most shoes, a size 7-1/2 in some. Size 40 is perfect for her. Buyers should be aware that the rate of wear increases when the sole…

Perfect for indoor tai chi

These shoes are perfect for tai chi training. Graceful movement transitions are one of the most difficult aspects of Taijiquan for me. These shoes will help you slip on your next step. At the same time, they offer moderate grip on hard floors and are not slippery. I train on textured ceramic floors. Size 37 fits like a glove for a woman 6.5-7ft tall. A pull tab on each heel helps a lot to easily pull these shoes on your foot. I have one caveat: since I haven't washed them yet, I don't know if…

Beautiful Traditional Chinese Cotton Sole Shoes

Traditional Cotton Sole Shoes for indoor use. If you want to wear them outdoors, get the rubber-soled version. Yes, it's a bit slippery on the bare floor, but don't worry, everything else is fine. Very convenient! Sizing is accurate IF you use metric measurements - measure your foot in centimeters then use the size chart. For me it worked up to 27 cm of the foot, which corresponds to a size 43. Converting US sizes to metric sizes is not the best way to do it. Just measure your foot with a…

Minimalist, light, perfect fit.

I hate shoes; I hate wearing, buying, trying on and changing them. This is the best I can get to walk barefoot without exposing my toes or wearing sandals. I'm an acrobat so they are perfect for the studio, traveling and rehearsals. Unlike other flats I've bought, they wrap around your foot and let your entire crotch touch the ground. Size 40 fits perfectly, covers the entire sock and the cotton stretches if you have a wider foot at the top. Just note that they have ZERO traction - the outsole…

Too big and the back is too high - and the cotton soles are terrible now!

I have been buying size 3 kung fu slippers for years. The product I normally use was out of stock this time so I bought them (although I prefer cotton soles). I don't understand why a size 38 should be so loose in these shoes when they go so well with the cotton sole style. Also, the back of the shoe is very high and rests on the back of my ankles when walking. Very uncomfortable. I left a pair of slippers as "street" slippers, but I have to wear them with socks, otherwise they are too loose…
