Well within your limits.

Because this product has been thoroughly reviewed, I'll give a short review. If you're looking for a compact and relatively inexpensive compact PC for light tasks (word processing, web surfing, etc.) then this is a decent machine. Note, however, that it doesn't have an optical drive (CD/DVD) and upgrade options are limited to memory and hard drive. For the main desktop, I usually recommend going with a more traditional tower option rather than a compact PC like this. If you are looking for a…

Quiet little computer

I bought this to use in our living room with our TV. Looks great and is very quiet. The HDMI output has its own audio output, so we can play music through an amplifier or TV, which is convenient. Despite the NVidia chip installed on it, the video playback performance is not that great. This is especially true for HD videos. This can be due to the low performance of the Atom processor or the bus bandwidth to the video chip. I didn't spend any more time identifying the culprit. I installed Linux…

Not DDR2 RAM, SPDIF?

Just got my pick. So it's still too early to say how it works. Note that the description on the Revain website is incorrect. Based on Revain's description of the device's specs, I ordered 4GB of DDR2 RAM to upgrade the Revo. To my dismay, I opened the case and found the RAM was DDR3, NOT DDR2. Both the Acer box that the Revo comes in and the RAM slot on the motherboard say DDR3 (1.5V). Now I have to return the ordered DDR2 and order the correct DDR3 sticks. Aggravating. Revain needs to update…

Pretty good for computers and accessories

Wrapped arrived 1 day earlier than expected, well packaged. First Impression: Smaller than expected, lots of USB ports, quiet and cool. I only use 3 power/VGA/audio cables. You can eliminate audio by using HDMI cables, so only 2 cables are really needed! Also, with the Logitech k350 wireless keyboard and Logitech M570 wireless trackball, I was able to use both with a Logitech Unifying receiver. Couldn't be happier with the keyboard and trackball combo. Internet connection, dual-core processor…

What offer! good for computers and accessories

This is just a quick note to fill in a few parts that are not in the listed specs, having actually received and installed 2 of these. The ION graphics version is listed on the box as "GT218-ION". As far as I can tell, they work great with You Tube HD (and Hulu) videos. (I updated Flash to version 10.1 first.) The "wireless" mouse and keyboard works via a nano-sized dongle plugged into the USB port and works at about 5 feet away. Windows sees them as 2.4GHz, but doesn't list them as Bluetooth…

Great for wireless use at home as the main PC

Time is of the essence and it's time for me to ditch my old Boat Anchor PC and find a new all-in-one home PC that does the same can do work-related tasks. My computer requires: * Basic web browsing. * Basic home finance and planning tools (like spreadsheets and programs to help with household organization). * Work. I work from home and need a PC powerful enough to work remotely.* Wireless connectivity.* Compact model. What I don't need:* Video streaming (which is the main reason people buy this

Works great as HTPC (updated 7/4/13)

I bought this computer for HTPC after an old laptop I was using stopped working. I was a bit hesitant as I bought it from Amazon without any reviews, but I'm glad I did. Works perfectly. I'm using Vizio TV via monitor cable (the Vizio I'm using has all the HDMI used by other things, Xbox, Bluray etc) and I'm using it with HD Homerun and a straight antenna antenna. killer combo. HD sport without basic fee! You might chuckle when your co-workers tell you how much they're spending on the U-Verse…
