Cannot recommend this Acer laptop. It arrived on time and well packaged. Several times it was acting strange, disconnecting and disconnecting from my wireless network. After two weeks, the screen shows nothing. After an hour of unsuccessful phone calls to Acer, it's brought in for repair (at my shipping cost). Instead, I'm going back to Revain for a refund. Battery life. I've been using this laptop for almost a year and regularly get 8 hours of battery life according to Windows battery usage statistics. This computer is probably the worst purchase of my life. Within a few weeks, the cheap quality becomes apparent with trackpad becoming unresponsive, screen dimming, battery draining, and more. I really have no complaints other than the touchpad being a little crazy at times. I'm writing with the OpenOffice software and sometimes the page suddenly gets bigger and I don't know what I did.
