Breathable makes it even better. Many "fleece" balaclavas make your head too hot and sweaty. This is especially bad in winter! It adds much needed protection to the head, neck and even the face! While it may not be "windproof," it gives me great protection and comfort options! Thanks very much! I highly recommend this product.

The balaclava came in a neat little zipped bag. My first impression was that it is very light and I wasn't sure if it could keep me warm. But after trying it on it fits well (and I'm quite a tall guy) and in my brief first use it definitely warmed my face. I actually ordered this because of the coronavirus outbreak and I'm really fed up with the disposable mask. I work all night and into the night so it's all I need it covers my head and mouth and there are two layers on the bottom so it works great and I don't even have to put on a hat they have some kind of ear holes on it so you can put it on just to cover your mouth only and then when you need to put part of the hat on the hood you can just flip it over your head. This product has no pros and cons, only cons. Here are some of them, in no particular order. This product has almost no flexibility. Rigidity is not a very good quality in a balaclava. This product is quite uncomfortable. And it's tight around your face. Stings are as bad as urine. Only a few stitches form each connection.
