ACOHUIKE Super Bright T10 LED Bulbs for 12V RV Ceiling Dome Light - Pack of 20, Soft White Review

We replaced all the bulbs in our camper with LEDs 2 years ago, but ended up replacing them with original bulbs because the LEDs didn't provide enough light. These lightbulbs are different. All LED chips point downwards and provide excellent light.

These lights were very easy to fit in my van. I had LED lights 4 years ago but they didn't put out much light. Some of the modules got even darker because some of the small LEDs had failed. These lights changed the world. With one I get more brightness than with the two old ones. I just hope the new ones are more durable. At least they're great at first.

LEDs are like a flat ping pong bat with a large surface area. Instead of a round bulb with LEDs partially aimed at the back of the socket and light block, they all face the room. This way the light they produce is much brighter and focused on the room. The connection where they plug into the socket is a little tricky to plug in, but once in, it stays. I like them and there are enough in the pack to make a complete RV interior.

Didn't work, they had to be rotated to make contact and that obviously won't work. I've tried several different ones thinking it might just be a lightbulb but none of them had any luck. I may have just received a bad batch but I still wasn't impressed so I sent them back and ordered a few others which worked great straight away. They were really cool, they could be rotated to fit me, but without constant rotating they wouldn't hold up.

I've been using standard 12v halogen bulbs in my travel trailer for a few years now and have hesitated to switch to LED until now. These LEDs are bright white compared to soft white halogen bulbs. They look noticeably brighter, but consume significantly less power. Less battery drain means longer battery life before the charger turns on. These LED lights were quite difficult to install due to the thickness of the base; They also didn't provide the "color" I was looking for for my caravan skylight. It also wasn't the light I wanted for my hood. I put two of them on a pull out sofa bed with overhead lighting and it was comfortable. The light is more of an "industrial/mercury" color than the standard incandescent "color". Keep that in mind as you review them. I can use them in other applications.

Maybe too bright. I decided to use them in key areas of the motorhome. Over the sinks and over the dinette, bye. They take a little getting used to, but they work great. A little tight compared to the old ones but takes a little more effort to fit. I myself will not use them in the bedroom. I will say that if you are having trouble seeing regular Element style lightbulbs, they are bright and you should be able to see better. We have decided to replace all the old lightbulbs in the camper we bought. The old style actually caused "burn marks" in the jigs and this solved the problem. A few things to watch out for when using them. #1 They are very bright! You will never need all the ads unless someone breaks the contact. #2 They are flat and only have indicators on one side. Easy to install but produces a blue or green cast. I hoped they were purer white light. Used them to replace some of the halogen lights in our caravan. We turned some of the lights upside down as they are very bright when viewed directly (our lens has a clear center spot and the light from them is more intense due to those clearer, smooth spots on the lens), so than we are some sat were annoyingly bright.
