The 184-pin format is getting harder and harder to find and the price is going up. I got 4GB of RAM here, less than what Micro Center wanted for 2GB. The low price made me wonder about the quality but the ones I received were ok. I ran a nightly memory test, there were no errors. If I had to upgrade another old computer, I would definitely buy it again.

I used it to replace the 512 DDR in the second slot on the motherboard. Now my 6 year old computer has a maximum of 2GB of RAM. I should have done this many years ago, but kept putting it off. Since these DDRs are now three times cheaper than they used to be, it made sense to upgrade them. The change took literally 2 minutes. I don't know if it's the computer I installed it in or if it's really old technology that has probably been idle for a while but I have bought two of them DIMMs, and within a month they both failed. bad and failed memtest86. I ended up just leaving the system they were on and building a new one.

I ordered 2 of these memory modules and they were delivered very quickly. I installed them in my Dell with XP and it had a very noticeable impact on the opening speed. I highly recommend them if you want to upgrade your old machine.

My color mixing computer died and I hooked up a computer I've had for a while (he wants to install Norton 2005) that only had 256 RAM. Dell says 1GB is the max so I ordered that. The computer recognized it immediately. Taking a star off because it took so long to get here but the price was great. I can update the BIOS as suggested in the package, maybe it will accept more RAM?

I only had one that came with my computer around 2007. So he is at least seven years old without any problems. I installed this on 5/11/13. Still works. It should work every bit to the other. My motherboard only supports 2 gigabytes of memory. I want it to last longer. If my first one stops working, I know where to get the next one. Same place.
