I like markers. I had a problem with one of the handles. It's an all-or-nothing pen, which means that when I press the tip to apply the color, quite a bit of color comes out, rendering the pen useless. I bought a 16ct black and white box with 2 different tip sizes. Instead of returning the whole batch, I just take another pen, dip it in the color of the broken pen and use it that way. never mind Aside from that one issue, the grips work great!

I use Artooli to paint stones. But of course there are many things they can be used for. They are very bold with color, have amazing colors and are just amazing to work with. I love that when you order a combination of black and white markers you get two different sizes. I have never found another paint marker that offers this. I bought these on the recommendation of someone in the alcohol ink community. I think they are a poor substitute for Posca drawing pens. First, they're a lot less opaque than Posca pens, not what you want when you're painting with alcohol ink. Second, they appear to respond to AI by washing color out of the white acrylic ink. The black markers are excellent, the color goes on smoothly and has a full coverage finish. Both thin and thick nibs are accurate enough to bring out detail, and bold nibs also provide good color shading. Unfortunately, white markings do not cause any complaints. Thin feathers practically do not flow, and the coating is translucent at best. Thick nibs flow well over most surfaces, but the opacity is still not as rich as black ones. I have Artooli pencils in both sizes and in this set but I found my white pencils in this set have liquid liquid color which are not opaque no matter how hard I shake it. For this reason I cannot give this set a 5 star rating. Have tried two white pencils so far with the same result. A black pen in use, perfect as my previous experiences with Artooli.
