Saves time!

Great price, easy to use, great way to make lots of paper mache. If you are busy, you will definitely save time and effort compared to using a traditional newspaper. Newspaper is cheaper, but the benefit of this instant paper mache is worth the minimal cost! If you're making an item, you can get "the whole experience" by using newsprint, but for mass-produced paper mache pieces, this is absolutely the way to go.

Pros
  • Easy to clean with regular soap and water
Cons
  • Some bugs

Very sticky.

Good product but too sticky for class. My fourth graders had a hard time working with this clay. We experimented with the amount of water, but that didn't solve the problem. Finally we used thin plastic work gloves which helped a bit. But in the end, the super stickiness of the clay prevented the kids from smoothing out the surfaces of their crafts, resulting in spiky, fluffy jack-o'-lanterns! However, the clay dried well and took color well. .

Pros
  • Ideal for school projects, dioramas, decoration and intricate sculptures; easy to draw and add texture, detail, pattern and color
Cons
  • Something different

pleasantly surprised at how fun and easy it is to work with.

I took a chance and bought CelluClay for the first time after reading the reviews. This year I wanted to make a Pumpkin Rot stuffed animal for Halloween. I've attached photos of my first attempt at clay and am quite optimistic about future projects. Of course, I'm no pro, but this material was easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone trying paper mache clay for the first time! The first photo is right after my clay has dried. In the sunny desert, it took less than 24 hours to solidify. I…
