Buffer is inefficient on vertical cuts and has difficulty using anything other than a foam buffing pad. The variable speed dial also tends to automatically increase during use due to vibration. I should have just spent more money and bought a burnisher from a company that makes burnishers instead of brand name tools like Adam's Swirl Killer.

I am very impressed with the quality of this machine, especially for the price! Kudos to Adam for putting together such a well thought out system that completely takes the guesswork out of color grading. And to take it a step further, they shipped same day and it was at my door two days later, direct from Adam, not Prime! Revain will tell you that shipping will take 10-14 days, but it won't be long. I will definitely be buying more Adam products in the future.

I like this polisher. Achilles heel - base plate. Mine broke after two months. I checked their website and they haven't had a 15mm baseplate since early November. Since my polisher is unusable without a pad, I ordered a complete polisher. I contacted Adam and they just said they were out of stock and check Revain. There is no substitute for this substrate. The response from them was quick. but they seemed quite indifferent to my problem.

Very happy with this product! It hit me, I subcontracted through a dealer who buys a lot of rental cars that are hardly maintained. So my job is to bring them back to life. I used to have a Griots 6" polisher and took a chance on Adam so glad I bought it and should have bought this polisher first. I detail mine Cars only, so I always make sure to clean the surface with a polish when applying a new type of sealer or coating.I almost regret not buying the 21mm random orbit polisher because it's so good.Er makes less noise than the Griots 6" DA and significantly less vibration. Heavy Duty; seems built for life; good variable speed; The best back wall diameter for most situations. Cheaper than leading brands (Rupes; Flex) but just as good. A smaller 3 inch tail fairing may also be required for difficult cornering seen on modern car bodies. Don't bother buying their cute but small expensive bottles of Adams rubbing and polishing paste if you don't have the cash to blow and your polishing needs aren't specialized. Local auto parts store. I bought this on sale for $166 and at that price I am very happy with it. I bought Adams Swirl Killer 15mm to have a little more correction than my 6" DA Griot (8mm travel I think).
