Update 2: I was finally able to contact the seller and they sent me a replacement within a few days. So far it works great. Update 1: Dead after 2.5 months of VERY light use! It worked great for a while but died after just a few months of light use. I tried contacting the seller about their "1 year warranty" and they sent me a replacement straight away.

My Windows 10 PC recognized this wireless adapter immediately. No driver installation required. It connected to my 5.8GHz network through the house over 4 bands (see screenshot). Other devices cannot maintain a good connection in this room. I often have to switch to 2.4 GHz, which is further, but much slower and more prone to interference. This Wi-Fi adapter is exactly what I need. The antenna really helps.

I bought a WifiGeek USB adapter for my Windows 10 operating system. It was easy to use, just plug and play. Locate WiFi settings and sign in. Great quality and great product. Update 08/24/2021: My WifiGeek USB Wifi has stopped working. I contacted WifiGeek. They offered to replace my USB WiFi and sent it straight away. My daughter's used computer has USB 2.0 USB ports, maybe even a few 1.1 ports, and the motherboard doesn't offer any upgrade ports. On the packaging of this WLAN adapter it says "USB 3.0” in big letters. So the WiFi signal is not that good for us. I can't tell you download or upload speeds, but photo websites take time to load fully. So make sure you have USB 3.0 and you'll probably be happy.

I bought this as a workaround for a defective Wi-Fi card in my Dell 13 3000 laptop. drive with my desktop computer and then installed the Windows drivers from the USB drive.
