Great design. Recommended, but USB 2.0 is only speed, despite USB-C plug

Beautiful design, many slots, excellent rigidity factor - but only USB 2.0 speed. At the same time it is directly written that this is USB 2.0, this was still a disappointment for me as I foolishly assumed that it will have USB 3.0 speeds if it uses a USB-C connector. I would still buy this - and if they came up with a similar USB 3.0 speed device I would buy THIS in a heartbeat - you know what you're getting.

Amazing quality:

To be honest I was also surprised by the feel, weight and quality of this memory card reader. It is made of durable metal material. In terms of functionality, I connected it to my LG V30+ and it connected straight away, allowing me to transfer RAW photo files into Adobe Lightroom very quickly and easily. You really can't go wrong with this item. . Especially given the low price. It arrived very quickly and with excellent shipping.

Not suitable for Android phones

Purchased for Samsung Galaxy s20 and s20+. They work well when you don't use a case on your phone. But if you have them, the plug won't be deep enough to see the reader. I had to remove the ultra slim case to use this card reader. I also tried the ZTE a7 Prime but the phone couldn't recognize it at all. After several uses, all my Android phones stopped recognizing this reader, so I had to buy another brand.

Suitable for work

I bought a reader and had to return it because it didn't work on my Samsung S10+. This works fine. Now I can take pictures with my camera and share them with this device through my phone.

High quality and easy to use

I ordered this and it is high quality and easy to use but I wanted one that has USB to other memory cards and USB-C output if at all possible.

It works. For mobile devices, you may need a free OTG app to access it.

Not bad, really. If you are using it on a desktop or phone mobile device, you may need to download the OTG app depending on your device. I have an Android so there are many free apps that work. Makes life super easy. Can transfer videos from SD card of my RC FPV goggles to tablet and upload to YouTube directly on RC airfield. Pretty cool!

Cheap and so useful!

This little adapter has all the features I need - USB 3.0, USB-C bandwidth and SD card adapter. It is durable and small in size so it can be easily slipped into a pocket or bag. As a photographer on the go I didn't need a large adapter with ports I don't need (HDMI etc) and this fits the bill. I only wish it was silver to match my new MacBook Pro!

Almost perfect accessory for memory cards

It was exactly what I wanted. I connect a promotional card reader hub directly to my Android smartphone and then connect a USB hub to it. The bottom USB-C port remains open for use with USB 3.0 flash drives. This allows me to use a wireless keyboard and mouse, download from SD cards, edit photos or videos on my phone, and then save them to flash drives or internal storage for later use. The only thing I don't like is that the USB-C port cannot be used for charging, only the media input…
