Works great on my PS2. I will also try it on N64 and PS1. The picture looks a lot cleaner, but not in HD quality (some words still look a bit washed out) but rendered in the correct 4:3 aspect ratio, so everything looks a lot better than it was. Older consoles were never meant to be played on these TVs, so there will always be some kind of trade-off. For the price, I have no complaints about this device.

Installed and works exactly as expected; Note, however, that the picture quality isn't exceptional from an old-school DVD player to a modern 4K big-screen TV. My parents were thrilled that they could still watch their old DVD collection on their old DVD player on their new TV, which had replaced a 14 year old Sharp flat screen that had finally breathed its last. I bought this converter after I bought a GANA Mini AV2HDMI Converter here and found that it doesn't support 4:3 aspect ratio. It was worth it, the picture quality is slightly better and works just as well. I combine this converter with Gam3Gear HDMI Scanline Generator and the games look great. I bought this to play my old gaming systems on new TVs. I like how I can choose whether I want to stretch the image to widescreen or not. This is the main selling point. Most games don't look well stretched. Ideally, and for the best picture quality, I would have an old TV. But I have no space and it will be difficult to find her.
