Trash SSD Computers & Accessories

This drive has been installed in my system for less than 2 months. It was used very lightly. For example, download and play some games. He has already died in me. SSD at garbage level. Luckily I had Windows installed on another Samsung SSD. I've learned my lesson. I would understand drive failure for years of ownership, but less than two months? I built my system on October 21st to give some perspective. I will never buy another ADATA product in my life and will recommend to my friends and…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

It basically works. for internal SSDs

Claimed speeds (1800/1200) are true. I ran the Crystaldisk stand and the temperature was kept under control thanks to the heat spreader.

Pros
  • sparkles
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

False advertising - suspected QLC nand

This is advertised as TLC NAND but I strongly suspect they have replaced the cheaper and MUCH slower QLC NAND. Ordered a new 2TB Swordfish. Plugged it in and it seemed EXTREMELY slow to me. User benchmark and Crystal Disk Mark report write speeds of 50-80 MB/s once the cache is full. Everything is fine with my equipment. I tested the same slot with 2 other NVME drives and both were >1000. It's 50-80. abominable. Also tested in USBC NVME case.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Modern
