I bought it as a Christmas present and no box. If it were for me I wouldn't mind, but it's December and people are doing Christmas shopping. I assume the purchase is complete. This is very annoying.

We got these for our 7 year old senior in high school. He is bad with shoes, plays a lot of basketball with his older brother. He just got new shoes for this school year and we threw them away. They took great care of him. Would buy again if not for its lack of UA Curry. If they fail, he gets Samba again.

The materials used to make the "tongue" of the shoe were cheap, unlike previous Samba materials which I bought direct from the Adidas outlet 5 or 6 years ago. Also, this pair of shoes does NOT have the comfortable arch support of my last pair I bought from Adidas Outlet. I will NOT buy them from ebay again.

At first I was so happy, I think this pair will last at least 1 year because I didn't see any holes on the outside. When I washed them I was shocked to see all the damage. It only lasted 6 months. Not recommended.

They're very nice shoes, but they don't wear well, they look like he's worn them every day and he's worn them about five times.

These are the PERFECT shoes for my 7 year old. He is very picky about shoes. They usually get dirty and tattered after about a month of wearing. But this shoe is ready to be tested. Black to hide the dirt, strong enough and still very fashionable. When he outgrows them I will definitely be buying a few more.

Update: Having bought a second pair from Amazon and a third pair elsewhere I believe the two pairs I got from Amazon have hard black soles have, were probably real. but still not what Revain is promoting as a sellable product. The photos show the traditional brown flex-soled sambas that sambas are famous for and the one Amazon sold me had a black hard rubber sole. The rating has been raised from one star to two as it is likely a genuine but still false advertisement. Don't order a size 5.5…
