Amazingly effective

I have a torn meniscus and long walks can be quite painful. I decided to use this orthosis for a multi-day hike. I also knew I needed to put ice on my knee every night, so I brought several pounds of instant ice packs. I was blown away the first night when after 8 miles with a 35lb backpack my knee felt great! I didn't even need ice. This brace is lightweight and fits well under some of my work pants and since then I've been wearing it every time my knee hurts in the morning. I've also used it…

It stands above all others Then this

I have arthritis in my right knee and needed surgery to remove a torn meniscus. Climbing stairs causes severe pain. This isn't the first knee pad I've tried. In 10 years I have accumulated a whole collection. The first thing I did when putting this brace on was try it on the stairs and was very pleased that my pain went from a 9 to a 5. What is also very important is the presence of a soft, very smooth material that wraps around the back of the knee so that the support material does not cause…

Very happy with my braces!

(Smart design = secure fit) I've been buying knee pads (5'4", 137 lbs) for a long time because I tripped over my own shadow 2 times. Rschunimagu. Both my knees had 3 front ones Cruciate ligament repairs and 1 meniscus surgery now I am preparing for my 5th surgery to fix the other meniscus so I have 4 prescription braces and bought some light weight sleeves and neoprene braces this one I like best because it is 4 Strap has, as opposed to the usual 2 straps, sometimes I find it on 2, but no…

You get paid for kind words. They recommend it as a non-irritating knee.

Don't be fooled by the video they posted. You get paid for kind words. They recommend it as a non-irritating knee brace. Sure, it's not annoying, but they made it worse by making the braces too small. This causes all of the straps to tighten behind the knee and dig into the back of the knee. This creates enormous stress and is very uncomfortable. So instead of helping our knees, he just wraps the straps around our knee. This is good for walking because walking does not require many activities…

Love the idea of this sleeve

I received the original knee pad, tried it and will be returning it as it doesn't exactly meet my needs. Namely support for a torn meniscus when curling. Here are my main issues with the corset: First, the lycra sleeve is too loose. I like the idea of this sleeve, but it's too loose for my leg (16.25" in diameter, 3" above the knee). This caused the sleeves to bunch up when the brace was buckled on and was too uncomfortable for actual sporting events (I imagine this would have caused severe…

Great design, great support!

I bought this knee brace (EX-701) after a knee injury. Something broke and it was very painful and unstable. It was like a loose joint, like my knee could move in any direction. I couldn't get the app. two weeks with an orthopedist, but during this time I needed support. I had already felt the elastic knee orthosis from ACE like a tight, hot sock; it offered absolutely no support. I did a lot of research to find the right knee brace for me by reading many reviews until I settled on the EXOUS…

I try very hard to write an appropriate review

Well I'm 73 and have bad knees. Both had a broken bolster and joint, as well as tears, sprains and dislocations around each knee. ACL, PCL or whatever and everything else on both rounds. SERIOUS. I also ski a lot. Double diamond skis, steep and deep. My right patella is dislocated; I've seen X-rays and they "ring" when I walk down the stairs. TAAAAAAA maybe the EXOUS aren't perfect for my knees, especially R. Because the Exous are pretty light and the stabilizing pads on the sides aren't that…

Wash with extreme care

This knee pad was a controversial product for me. Ultimately, the positives don't just make up for the shortcomings. I'll start by saying I never machine wash this brace, not even on the gentle cycle. Hand wash only. After one (1) wash and zero (0) dry cycles, the adhesion quality was poor. From there I had to either be very precise and find a middle ground on a velcro friendly surface or complement it with a velcro strap. Actually had to replace the top hook closure flap with a worn spacer…

I have VERY BAD KNEEs and THIS BRACE IS THE BEST!

I'm almost a little afraid to jinx myself for posting a 'rave' review but I just knocked on wood so here it is! If you don't want to read my full story, the bottom line is that this brace provides AWESOME lateral support! A LITTLE BACKGROUND TO EXPLAIN MY FANATISM ABOUT THIS BRACKET: I have a condition called "General Joint Weakness" which means almost every joint in my body is "loose" than it should be. This is neutral or even good on most parts of the body, but NOT when it comes to the knees.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
