I got this for a cat with some health issues and probably some arthritis. I put it on my bed in a corner. IN teh evening I turn it on and my cat which usually right agains't me, sprawls out on this. She really enjoys it. The adjustments of temperature are good and the timer is pretty good. It does have a jump from 2 hours, to 4 and then to 8. I would like one in the 5 or 6 range. You need to read elsewhere to see what temperature is good for your type of pet. My big complaint is buttons. They…

I don't have a pet, but I do have icy feet due to Raynauds. I keep the heating pad under my desk to keep my (bare) feet warm during my workday, while working from home. Lifesaver! I also like that the cover can easily be removed for cleaning, unlike "human" heating pads where the whole thing has to be washed. I've ordered 3 of them now, for different spots in the house.

This heated bed is nearly perfect. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the padding is thin and the coils can be slightly felt. The heat control is great, the warmth is perfect. So I do put a light cover on it to pad it a little. It says not to, but I read in reviews that people were doing that. My cat loves it and I am so happy I can control the heat level. My cat hopped up on this immediately and loves it (although she still prefers my lap!). Not much to complain about. The only thing I would mention is it’s really not padded. The "padding” inside the cloth cover is literally about an eighth inch thick (I’m being generous). I typically put it on the sofa and then shape a nest out of a throw on top of it, which works well. I use this indoors for my short haired skinny senior dog who has arthritis and is cold year round. I’m buying a second one so he has one in the bedroom and one in the living room. It keeps him from always wanting my comfort. I set a waterproof blanket over it. He naps so peacefully. It works well except occasionally shows an error. I have to set it to 24 hours daily but worth every penny.

Nice pad and the cat loves it. It's not that comfortable on it's own, so you need to put a blanket underneath. Some pets might not benefit from the timer feature!

I was a little skeptical after reading reviews that it didn't get warm enough. I will say the first day I plugged it in it didn't seem very warm, but the second day it's heating very well. I have a little dachshund mix that's always cold. When she's laying on top of it and not under her blankets, I know it works.

I was very excited to purchase this for my large American Bulldog. He loves the heat on cold days in the fall and winter. It came very well wrapped, when I places it on our floor, it didn’t lay flat, and was kind of lumpy. He also started to chew on the end where the wire was coming out of the mat. While this chew problem is not the problem of the manufacturer, maybe the electrical connection could be better insulated with a heavier grade plastic to protect the wiring.

Fit well inside a house I already have on my carport for the cat. Seems to be excellent quality and the timer seems to be high quality also.

It's sturdy, works well, but you must make sure you keep resetting every 24 hours. I use this in an outdoor kitty house for a out doors kitty. Also good size for small to small-medium dog.

I bought this for my barn cats and they love it. We've had subzero temps the last few days and their pet pad kept them warm and comfortable.

The cord is chew proof. Timer and auto settings work great. My dog out of nowhere unfortunately chewed the plastic pad itself. So the cord is chew proof but not the pad. That was my fault…it does come zipped inside the cloth outer part and I let the corner peak out. Great product though.

I use this pad in my whelping area for newborn puppies and it’s very important that the temperature stays consistent. With a Heat sensor gun I check the temperature regularly and I’m always relieved to find that it’s been a consistent temperature for my puppies. Easy to clean and the cord is sturdy.

Bought this for our barn cats this winter when it got below freezing and it work great! Love how you can control the temperature. It doesn’t get hot like a heating pad you’d buy for yourself. I put these in my dogs kennels to help keep them warm in the garage at night. So far they work really well and are extremely easy to operate. Just push the temp button until you reach one of six temperature presets and push the timer button for how long you want them on and that’s it!

We don’t have to worry about our elderly cat chewing on the mat so didn’t rate that but it looks very durable. The pad is nice quality and it has many options for a timer and the level of heat which is very nice. It seemed to help him sleep and made it easier for him to get up after sleeping.
