This heated bed is nearly perfect. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the padding is thin and the coils can be slightly felt. The heat control is great, the warmth is perfect. So I do put a light cover on it to pad it a little. It says not to, but I read in reviews that people were doing that. My cat loves it and I am so happy I can control the heat level. I would recommend this heated pad.Update Dec 2021.just brought this out to use again since it is cold at night. Doesn't work anymore. Turns on and sets fine, but turns off in a few hours no matter how I set it. It worked great all last winter.
