Great Engine Tuning Tool

This tool is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast who prefers to tune their car themselves. It helps you adjust the camshaft easily and precisely, saving you lots of time and frustration. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but considering its quality and durability, it's worth the investment.

Pros
  • Provides precise adjustment for camshaft locating pressure
Cons
  • Requires specific knowledge or tools for proper adjustment

You get what you pay for

Bought for use on a DD15 engine to re-seal the camshaft housing. The turning tool broke immediately. I was able to fix it, but it wouldn't have worked unless it was moved away from the flywheel with shims. The adjustment pin worked but was looser than it should have been. A tool that locks their cams in time is a poor fit to the front of the engine. The pins were too tight in the cam body and one of them broke when the tool was removed. Cons
  • Everything OK

Stop and think before you buy

This tool kit works and the best thing I can say about aliens BUT yes it's huge BUT brass pins will NOT fit. At first I thought it might just be oil in the holes not allowing the tool to slide all the way down for a proper install. so i cleaned them. It didn't work, it's still very hard. so I didn't find that very alienated, so I might have postponed everything to do it, but to no avail. Then I thought I might try giving it a little nudge with my hand to make sure the tool wasn't just tightened

Pros
  • Tools and Equipment
Cons
  • Almost never
