You get what you pay for and it's about $20 worth of crapper (Crimper). There's a reason why the ones we use it work cost $69 and I found out really fast. Cheap hard plastic handles that will most likely crack if dropped, the crimping head rattles a little bit, and sometimes they do not give clean cuts which under mission critical circumstances could possibly cause grounding or interference issues. These were a great set of crimpers. Comfortable in the hand. Able to make cables quickly. The blade to cut the wires works great to. I've had issues with these in other pairs I've gotten. Definitely worth the buy.

I haven’t used the crimping tool yet, because the connectors that came with it are utterly worthless. There’s no way to keep the wires in the proper order. Many of the reviews say that they are pass-through, but the ones I got are not. Now I’m going to have to go to the store and purchase better connectors to finish my job.

This kit was wonderful. It's the first time I had ever made Ethernet cables, but the tool and instructions made it super easy. I would recommend this to anyone, especially someone just starting.I used a pair of needle nose pliers to line up the cut end of the wires and guide them into the end piece, which made things quite a bit easier.

I previously had the standard crimp tool with the two piece connector. Pass through crimp tool is so much easier. One Caveat the connectors that came with the tool did not allow my CAT 6 outdoor cable wires to passthrough. They are 23 AWG, and were too wide. I had to purchase connectors with wider slots. All was good in the end and still highly recommend this tool.

Came a day early. Fixed a broken cat5 cable so that I can use on my smart tv. Was easy to use but takes a little patience to get the wires in the correct order. One good squeeze and it was done. Great product for the price.

This crimping tool along with the pass-through clips made it so much easier to put ends on either net cable. I have the older ones but this made it so much easier to see the wires and do the crimping. I'm sold on this. Thanks.

Tool is sturdy and solid. Plenty of connectors for a hobbyist. Only made two user errors and then two perfect crimps! Great value.

I needed a 20 foot data cable and found it was much cheaper to buy this tool and raw cat 5e cable and to make my own than it was to buy one premade. And now, any additional cables I need are free. Instructions can easily be found on line for color order to assemble. Crimping tools at box stores were 2 to 3 times the cost.

Not much explanation necessary, just works as intended. Plenty of connectors if you make a mistake, and works for Cat6 as well which is what I needed.

I have used much more expensive crimping tools - but this one does a very good job at a fraction of the price. Also seems to be well-made and comes with some extra useful tools.

It is a great product. I made my first Cat6 cable with this crimping tool and RJ-45 connectors. It worked and I was so excited. I can't wait to replace all my Cat 5 cables with Cat 6 cables using this wonderful crimping tool. I received it the day after next, very timely. I highly recommended it.

The only reason this product got 4/5 cause there was no instructions included in the kit. I think the manufacture should really considering adding it to increase customer satisfaction. A diagram with a description of each tool would help so much.

One reason I purchased this tool was because of instruction card shown in ad. Tool worked as it should, but it came with absolutely no instructions as shown in ad. Tool function was obvious and straight forward but I had to go online for wire color oreintation which is what the instruction card shown in the ad was suppose to provide. Not a big deal, just frustrating. Connectors and boots were of decent quality. Every attempt was successful, no redos required.

i liked the fact that this crimper will do what it is suppose to do for a lower price than I could find anywhere. Also given the added value of the terminal ends and boots made this deal even sweeter. I recommend this to any "do it yourselfer" that has need to do the occasional crimp job to make or repair a cable.

This tool is great for terminating cable. I would highly recommend to all my friends. This is not a bot message. I am 100% real and this crimp tool is worth the money.

The pass-thru connectors definitely cut down on errors when crimping RJ-45s because you can see the colors much more clearly than you can with conventional sealed-end connectors. It seems that several manufacturers have caught onto this. My only warning is that an open-end connector isn't the best choice for damp environments.
