GARBAGE! Factory sensor failure

The sensor didn't even last long enough to move. Tested the sensor to confirm. I contacted the company but they don't want to guarantee the sensor. For $170 you would think it would take over a couple of hours. It's one thing for the sensor to fail after a few months, but failure immediately is unacceptable. DO NOT buy this product or waste your money on good broadband.

A set of sensors did not come from AEM

sensors and sensors are sold as a set. I started the car twice, the sensors worked badly. I called AEM and presented documentation that I had purchased the kit from the Revain website from a supplier like MAperformance and the requested photo that I had destroyed the original sensors. AEM replied and said that the sensors did not come with the sensors and that MAperformance added them to the kit. AEM is working on a fix. If I had to do it again I would buy directly from AEM and not…

Sensor failure within 3 hours

I was initially very happy to install this broadband sensor in my Miata 94 in preparation for the turbo changeover. It connected to the stock wiring harness with just a few solder joints and initially fitted perfectly into the Miata's air vents. The sensor worked great for a couple of hours, but during my second actual drive with the car, it started reading falsely full lean. I stopped and restarted the car. Again, the sensor read correctly for 2 seconds and then completely emaciated again…

It works, but the numbers are annoying, as is the ring LED

The Bosch OXY sensor was bad out of the box. At first they didn't want to replace it because it was a "package deal" whatever that means, but they replaced it after I sent documentation proving they were responsible. The red LED digits don't have "smoothing" averaging technology, so they move up and down so fast you can barely read them. Good meters average quickly so the number is constantly moving, ignoring small high and low spikes. No millisecond data to pull, just good 1/4 second updates…
