Perfect for parts and accessories

We bought this to replace the drain hose on our LG dishwasher. It arrived in perfect condition and quickly. We were able to install it fairly easily, but being all one piece it took a bit of finishing work to replace. Overall very satisfied because now I can use the dishwasher again!

Easy installation Difficult to determine what the problem with the leak is If you have replaced the drain pump and then a leak occurs, the drain hose is most likely defective The hose on the drain pump becomes hard When installing a new pump, check that the hose does not tear, replace the pump

Too expensive for hoses

Had to order urgently, paid extra, otherwise too expensive. Half price if you can wait a few weeks. Otherwise a normal dishwasher hose. Works as intended. My old one became brittle and started leaking after 5 years of use. The machine should last 10 years for domestic use without the need to change hoses. Shame about LG. I don't think I will buy LG again in the future.

Cheaper than calling service

For some reason LG requires you to buy it fully assembled. You can't just buy a hose. It is glued to a plastic Y-connector. I tried to save money by just buying a tube to patch back onto the original but couldn't get a good enough sealant. In any case, the OEM part works perfectly. The installation is quite easy.

The replacement hose corresponds to the obsolete part number AEM6943803

Exactly the part I needed. Easy enough to install. Just a little time. It takes about ten minutes to remove and another five minutes to install a replacement for a minimally experienced DIYer. Incredibly expensive for a simple corrugated plastic tube. Surely this complicated hose fitting is designed to captivate the customers and they can't just replace a broken piece of drain hose with a cheap 3/4 inch hose. Tip: This tube can fail due to excessive heat exposure. Mine came from being routed…
