It's expensive What's the point? There never seems to have been a problem in the house. I got them because the smart things' arrival sensors are going on and off all the time just sitting in the attached garage. I installed 2 on the ground floor around the garage. I don't see any improvements in the arrival sensor garage. There is no app to just walk around with your phone and check the range. I think you need to take a sensor with you and walk and stop every 10 feet

I'm having trouble connecting to multiple exterior door locks. Was disappointed that my Vera controller couldn't get through. I have a SmartThings hub. These repeaters thought they were connected to the hub, but the SmartThings hub never found the device. I've tried removing them from the network and reading them multiple times. Never got them to work. Contacted Aeotec support. They were able to reproduce the issue in their lab, but also couldn't connect them to the SmartThings hub. Seems to be firmware issues with these devices. I had some problems with the Z-Wave network with some of my sensors being further away from the Hubitat and not in range of other Z-Repeaters Wave (light switch etc.). I bought these Aeotec repeaters and they've done a great job and I'm getting very good response from sensors that were previously out of range.
