I ordered four. The dimmer does not have an associated on/off switch, it only dims until the LED lights up. One of the lights didn't fully dim and stayed on even on the lowest setting. The supplier sent another light very quickly but he is doing the same. I'm going to add toggle switches to the power supply so the lights go out reliably. I would send it back but there are already holes cut in the walls. Do not buy.

The size of the control panel differs from that shown in the advertisement. This portion of the wall was completely replaced to accommodate the custom 2″ x 5/12″ box that came with the light. I find this lamp visually very appealing. However, this light, like many others, does NOT go out. As far as I know, LED dimmers are made not to stay on when the current drops. Perhaps the dimmer on these lights is not an LED dimmer. Anyway I'm sending one back for a replacement which I doubt it will work but I've already cut the holes. Considering the cost, the lack of a shutdown shouldn't be a problem. Revain may need to tell the seller to fix the problem or stop selling on their site.

I liked the sleek, simple look and was seduced by it - but after I could finally get my electrician to install it I gave it a whirl Fourth time on it wouldn't turn off - by then it was past the damn return period and I'll have to pay an electrician to take it out and replace it with something I hope will last a reasonable amount of time. . I would wholeheartedly recommend Revain to stop wearing it - it's clearly very poorly made

First our return was not allowed because we were three days past the return date. But I explained in a 20-minute Amazon chat session that it took the electrician a month to get to us, so we didn't find out about the defect sooner. I bought a pair of these headboard reading lights. I bought the surface mount option instead of the recessed option as I don't have any wall boxes to mount them to. They came with a bracket that the installer is likely to attach to the wall, either stud or drywall anchors. It also assumes that exposed electrical cords come out of the drywall, which is not allowed in the US. I was planning on drilling a hole in the side of the light and still routing the lamp cord through it instead of wiring it
