Efficient paint removal from concrete

Efficient paint removal from concrete with this economical grinding wheel. The design of this circle is similar to circles that cost more than $100. Paint has been removed from over 800 ftΒ² of concrete and the wheel still has some life.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Reliability

Aggressive and easy to use

Removes paint from 250 square feet of concrete in a snap! I used a flex wet polisher which only spins at 3600rpm but is needed to remove the dust. I find that dry angle grinders spin faster at around 11,000 rpm. It took about 4 hours with several breaks to stretch the lower back to completely remove the paint from 250 square meters at 3600 rpm. The wear on the cutting surfaces of the discs is approx. 1/16. I think water prolongs life. You may see a higher wear rate at 11,000rpm dry, but the job

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

This bike is amazing.

I bought this because I use it to clean thin glue that was under the tiles on my basement floor. I used a Makita A-98871 wheel which was too thin and lasted forever (although I'll use it for a thinner finish after this wheel). I reached out to the seller, ediamond tools, to ask which of their wheels would be a better fit than the Makita. It was suggested to use this wheel to remove the cutback. The wheel is very aggressive, but in this application it's almost correct. You don't have to push it…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Thin
