Mom was using her vacuum cleaner and the belt broke. She wanted to buy a new vacuum cleaner. but i found the correct belt replacement and the replacement was easy and now it actually works better than before!

Easy to install, this belt drives the brush on the front of my Hoover vacuum. Wow! What is the difference with a new belt? I didn't realize how much the worn belt was slipping. Now the vacuum cleaner cleans like new. I'm glad we have the opportunity to purchase genuine Hoover parts.

I bought these mainly based on the description that they fit the UH70935. After receiving and installing it turned out that they ARE NOT SUITABLE for UH70935. They are too long and the strap is too loose to catch on the brush and spin around. I will send these back.

When the package arrived both straps looked like they were in good condition and all intact. Unfortunately when we tried to install the first strap (of 2 packs) it broke in half. When we tried the second strap it was a bit stretchy and while it seemed to fit perfectly the pulley would not spin. I ended up having to run to a specialty store and buy new belts. The store confirmed that I had the correct part number and that the belt should fit properly, so the issues were a manufacturing defect.

The belt that came with my vacuum lasted more than two years before it broke. Up to this point everything worked perfectly. I ordered these as a replacement, the numbers match and my vacuum was on the compatible vacuums list and the packaging actually looks like it was Hoover. The first of these straps began to fail (stretch) after a few weeks of use, ie after four or five uses. I replaced it with a second strap.
