I bought these for my new wine glass display and was happy to hang them on the ceiling to hide them. The supplied adhesive was perfect, strong and very easy to apply. Much better than pulling screws on the ceiling. I put strings across the quilt to hide it and it looks great. The remote works anywhere in my house, I don't have to point it at the receiver. I wanted parallel lights as I didn't want to see wires (no protrusion under cabinets) and stock lights don't offer that option. I also had a sink between two rows of cabinets, so I needed a separate power supply for both rows of cabinets to avoid crossing wires. I bought the soft white version and it fits well in my collection. I have now bought 4 sets of 6 light versions. The sockets for each bulb are small enough that I could fit four through the pre-drilled hole on the Detolph's top cap. The cord/wire lengths are also long enough to reach three detolfs to light the middle shelf of the third detolf in any direction. Very nice, just what I was hoping for in my souvenir closet. The light is a little "white" but not that awful "white-blue". The remote control/dimmer works great. The dimmer helps with whiteness, has preset buttons for 100%, 50%, and 25% brightness, plus plus or minus buttons for further adjustment in one direction or the other. I bought this for our cabin, a very simple setup with five lights to cover about 5ft of countertop/sink. I think the LEDs are bright enough. I really like the quality of the light.
