No instructions. You just have to find out everything yourself. But they were pretty easy to use. They are half open and half closed. So you have to open them fully first. Once placed you need to apply some force to it and press the two pieces together with the material in the middle. This package is enough to sew two and a half curtains.

These are incredibly easy to use and work well with heavier curtain fabrics. They don't come with a hole size template so I just used the bushing as a template. After making holes in the fabric with a pencil, I double stitched/stitched each marked hole to reinforce it before cutting it out. Then the eyelets came straight in! (Reinforcement of the holes is important as the grommets cannot be dry cleaned and must be removed. Reinforcement ensures the holes do not wear out or lose their shape.)

I made some phone holders out of it for the workshop. They were so easy to use, just cut a hole, put the two pieces together and snap them together. I made the mistake of putting the case in the wrong place but unlike other cases I've used I was able to open and reuse this one. There is no defective product. The packaging was unexpected.
