🔥 Airtex E3947M Fuel Pump Assembly with Module Review

I installed this on my Chevy truck after the old pump failed. The bed had to be removed to gain access to the gas tank. The o-ring that came with the pump prevented the pump from going all the way into the tank, allowing the mount to be reinstalled. I had to use an o-ring from an old pump to make room for the bracket.

The device transfers fuel as intended, but the transmitter unit that controls the fuel gauge does not work. My pump that was in the truck pumped fuel very well, I went to the trouble and money for a new pump to fix the fuel level sensor problem, it got better and now my sensor is reading but it's still shaky and a little wrong. Buy a Bosch that has the best transmitter for the float that controls the fuel gauge.

Abuy 2 years ago I needed to replace the fuel pump on my '98 Chevy pickup. I bought an Airtex fuel pump at a local parts store. The pump has a one year guarantee.
