I bought these to help support my duty belt. I haven't noticed much improvement in the lower back pain I have, but they have helped a lot for keeping my pants up. I use these over the top of my outer carrier undershirt, so when I have the body armor carrier on you hardly even notice I'm wearing it.Where I notice this to help the most is running. The suspenders were fairly constructed. I would have like to have seen the hooks be constructed of a more durable matwrial, maybe steel to lenghthen the longevity of rhe unit. shoulder pads could have been thicker but do the job. over all well worth the money paid.

I'm very disappointed that I opened the packaging and the suspenders only came with two belt keepers. So I guess now I have to buy additional belt keepers? Were there supposed to be four belt keepers? I sure wish someone would make this right if there were supposed to be four belt keepers. So there's that.

I bought this to help support the weight of my duty belt. This thing broke right out of the package. Before I could even put it on my belt and try it out, the plastic clip broke. I would NOT recommend wasting your money on this item. The plastic clips that connect the belt to the belt keepers are easily broken.

If you wear an external carrier, you must buy suspenders. After nearly 13 years of wearing a 25 pound belt in which all the weight was placed on my hips, I finally went to a system that would allow suspenders. Holy back pain relief. Weight is more evenly distributed. Less pain throughout the day!As for this brand, first week went well. I gave 5 stars on everything but durability. That is still to be seen, but so far so good.

These ARE Velcro based BUT each clip has two buttons hold atop of the Velcro. It's like a double lock. Excellent for law enforcement or if you're working in security.
