Happy Customer - Underwater

I purchased this item to film my son at his baseball games. Well, that's not going to happen. Tried it for the first time last Friday. It took him a minute to connect to the wifi. I mounted it on a mini tripod on top of the fence. My son was throwing so I aimed him at the mound. It was far away so I tried to zoom in but there is no way to zoom in or out. So I figured that once I reproduce this in the app I could zoom in and out to show my son what he's doing right and wrong. Well, that would be

I bought this camera because it had 10,000 reviews, mostly positive. Now I'm wondering how it got so many positive reviews considering it has a major flaw that makes it almost unusable. This camera is said to come with two batteries so they can be swapped out when out in the field. The BIGGEST problem with this camera is that the time and date reset and change to "01/01/2018 at 12:00" every time the battery is changed or running low. The problem is that the naming convention for each image isโ€ฆ

Great value for money with lots of attachments. It is important to note that it comes with two (2) batteries and a battery charging dock. The battery can also be charged in-camera by plugging into any USB charging port. Ease of use both inside and outside the case. This camera uses any standard GoPro mounting system.
