The ability to choose video quality from 4K to 720p is an added bonus, depending on the type of footage you're shooting. The EK7000 is very stable and light on the selfie stick. Image stability is amazing considering the price this camera comes at. As with any action cam that's housed in a rugged, waterproof case, the audio isn't the best. However, the rear door of the enclosure can be replaced with an alternative door provided that sound can penetrate the enclosure. The best sound is achieved by not putting the camera in a case at all. I use the camera for two purposes. The first is like a DVR in a tractor trailer. I find the 720p range ideal for higher frame rates than DVR. The second goal is an action camera while driving the EUC. I shoot action shots in both 4K 30fps and 1080p 60fps. Footage is sharp and stable unless I hit a big bump or tend to shake the camera, which looks like a lack of stabilization. The button controls and the ability to control the camera from a smart device is a great feature. With the AKASO In DV app you have full control over taking photos, starting and stopping videos, viewing and transferring recorded objects to your smart device. If you are having trouble connecting to the camera with a smart device, try disabling data transfer on the smart device while leaving Bluetooth on. and try again This usually solves the connection problem between the two devices.
