Liked the brand. It's gentle on the skin. The viscosity of the gel is good. It does not spread in the soul. I'm not sure if there's much Hawaiian tone in it. It has some excellent black qualities. It's more of a gimmick, but I could be wrong. In fact, the biggest selling point is available when you subscribe and save.

The product they sent me is totally wrong. I've been using this cleanser for years, it's a sticky black stuff that cleans deeply, but what I got despite the same packaging is a clear stuff with a cucumber scent and microbeads in it! I don't know how it happened, but I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately the item is non-returnable so I'm stuck with counterfeiting the actual product I came across.

I bought this from a health food store a few months ago and I love it. So I bought another one from Revain. It should be exactly the same, even with the same bottle. Except that on Revain this isn't the thick woody undergrowth I fell in love with. It's like they filled it partly with original product and the rest with pure product. I have sensitive skin and it irritated me a bit so I don't think I can use it every day. I washed my skin well and put on a good moisturizer and my skin calmed down with no further problems, but anyone with sensitive skin knows that burning sensation that comes when your skin is struggling. Still a good product, I use the wipes version all the time.

I found this in the store and bought it for my husband after he started working in the kitchen. He was concerned about heat and oil exposure because I bought him a detox/cleanser cleanser. He showers with it every night and I'm glad I found it at Revain as it has become his favorite cleanser. I will order regularly.

Nothing to say about this cleanser. It's a mild cleanser that removes dirt and oil and is mediocre at best for makeup removal. My face felt a lot fresher with this product than other cleansers in this price range, and it didn't tighten or dry my skin. I have oily skin, hyperpigmentation, rashes or irritation that I haven't noticed.
