Standard professional laboratory glassware cleaner

Alconox is the standard professional laboratory cleaner. I have worked in various labs over the last twelve years, almost every lab uses this product. There are many reasons, but I think the main reason is that it removes all types of stains from glassware better than traditional dishwashing liquid while leaving minimal residue or film.

Pros
  • For manual and ultrasonic cleaning
Cons
  • No instructions

I just bought it again to clean my LP.

I called this company a few years ago and they told me THIS is used by two of the leading companies that make record cleaners. He said he couldn't name the companies, but at the time the two most popular were Nitty Gritty and VPI. He also said that it is used as the BASE for many popular dishwashing liquids, in this case he mentioned Dawn dishwashing liquid. Follow directions but with cautions, use distilled water. I use 2 ounces per gallon but then rinse with distilled water. I don't think…

Pros
  • Free rinse formula gives reliable results with no messy residue
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

It's not fake, it's real stuff

I use it to clean mass spectrometer lenses and multipoles. It goes with most things and looks professional to my clients. If you are looking to clean your glassware, kitchen or anything else, consider the powder version of this product. Some people claim that the powder version leaves a residue, but I think that's due to improper rinsing. I think if you buy Liquinox you know why you need it.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Secret cleaner

I used to use Liquinox to clean glassware in an organic chemistry laboratory. Worked great. One day, on my way to work, I spilled coffee on my white t-shirt. I took this shirt and rubbed concentrated Liquinox into the coffee stain, let it sit for a while and then rinsed it out. The coffee stain is gone! Since then I have always used Liquinox as a magical means of removing blood, wine, baby vomit (and worse) and various food stains. I am now retired and was so happy to know that I could purchase

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
