Suitable for wide, arched feet when insoles are removed

I have wide, thick, arched feet - technically a size D, but I often need EE shoes because I have such a big foot. I never buy shoes online, this is my first time and I only did it because I can't find shoes with minimal soles to try on in person. got 8-8.5. With insoles, if I loosen the laces as much as possible, I can squeeze my feet into these shoes, but they are tight. Not *too* tight, but not comfortable for long. So I took out the insoles and now they fit everywhere except the heel. Shoes…

It's like walking barefoot!

How barefoot! These shoes offer some protection without adding bulk. I am a petite older woman. My feet are small, very wide at the ball of the foot and very narrow at the heel. (think duck feet). I have high arches. I've had multiple foot surgeries and nerve pain in my legs. My podiatrist prescribed me custom orthotics in a very structured, soft, heavy shoe! (Think Frankenstein boots). But it limited wearing on the bike, in the garden, and anywhere except walking on concrete or standing for…

Not what I was hoping for, but probably more than I expected.

Nice shoe, but if you're trying to replace your favorite barefoot running shoe that starts with a V, this isn't it. I can walk in it with little pain; However, they are almost twice the weight of the shoes mentioned above. They have plenty of toe room, which is good on one level but doesn't offer the same compression in the right places as on another. For me it ended in severe pain and the need to treat cuboid syndrome. I like the look of the shoes; it's more like shoes. I will keep them as…

The best sandals I've ever had!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa she better than the seven pairs of Merrell/Vibram shoes I've had over the years! I can't believe they're only $20. To be honest I only tried them because I saw a customer wearing them and she loved them. The vault support is perfect. They think they will live forever. They run a bit small like all the

Barefoot and in love. Now Brokenhearted

These shoes have changed my life. They let my toes breathe. My hip, knee and back pain have subsided. With these shoes I found my balance again. I personally chose them based on price to see if they would do me any good before ever making the more expensive purchase of another brand. (Depending on how long they last I may never do, except for winter boots) I bought another pair because I love them so much! It's like walking barefoot without worrying about puncture wounds or irritation. I…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

For those of you who are already accustomed to barefoot and want to save money, give it a try. I've had some amazing Merrell gloves but I expect they will break in in about a year. I personally don't like Vibrams because I don't like the feel of a lot of material between my toes, but if you don't mind then by all means stick with Vibrams. As for vivobaerfeet, I honestly don't see much benefit for the price and I've had a pair for two years. Fair warning, I only use enclosed treadmills for the…
